super robot from the victorian era

this robot was discovered at the royal british navy
archives by ted terranova.

it seems to be a prototype model build by yorkshire iron works for the british navy around 1850. not even the term super robot was in use then, this one was called a LAND SHIP.

so it is about 60 years older then the Z-3 GUSTAV model.
